No one answered that challenge better than Paul Duda.

From the opening tee shot to the final putt, Duda delivered one of the most complete rounds of the BC Tour season. His driving was exceptionally accurate, repeatedly finding the fairway and setting up excellent scoring opportunities. On a beautiful summer afternoon, a modified field of seven BC Tour golfers gathered at the historic Harkers Hollow Golf Club for another spirited round of competition. The picturesque layout was in excellent condition, providing a fitting backdrop for a closely contested championship. Although only a handful of players were eligible to challenge for the BC Tour Championship Belt, the competitive fire burned just as brightly as ever.

Chris DeNardo, riding an impressive winning streak, once again showcased the steady, disciplined golf that has become his trademark. But this time, he faced perhaps his toughest test yet. Dave Smith matched the defending champion shot for shot throughout the afternoon, refusing to yield an inch. Neither golfer could gain a decisive advantage, and when the final putts disappeared into the cup, the scorecards revealed what had been evident all day—a deadlock after 18 holes. The Pocono Club is nearing completion of a reported $3.5 million renovation, and the group received a warm welcome from the club's professional staff and starter before heading to the first tee. Recent storms had brought down numerous trees across the property, but the cleanup effort was remarkable. The course was in good condition despite the recent storms, while the greens were a bit fuzzy and slow 

For DeNardo, the challenge was different this time. Carrying the belt means carrying a target, and every golfer in the field knew who they were chasing. Yet DeNardo appeared comfortable with the pressure. The course was in outstanding condition, its rolling fairways and well-guarded greens rewarding thoughtful course management while punishing even the slightest lapse in concentration. Every hole demanded precision, and with a talented field assembled, it quickly became clear that no one would claim the Championship Belt without earning every stroke.

From the opening tee shot, Ken Carey looked ready for the occasion.
